MUSIC PROGRAM
ASCENSION PARISH CHOIR
Since 1850, the Church of the Ascension Parish Choir has been supporting the liturgy of the church and reaching out to the community. The choir meets each Sunday morning after the service, September through June, to prepare hymns, psalms and anthems for the Sunday service. Festive music and accompaniment are always highlights of the Christmas and Easter seasons.
New members are always welcome to share in the music and fellowship of the choir.
The Church of the Ascension Music Program is now under the direction of renowned composer and conductor, Mr John Laing.
John is best known as the former director of the John Laing Singers.
